Our two Small Double Rooms are cosy, comfortable and some of our most popular rooms. They are a great choice if you want everything you need for a relaxed Scarborough stay in a more compact space.
Both rooms have a comfortable double bed, private en-suite shower room, wardrobe and plenty of space to move around and settle in. They're particularly well suited to shorter breaks or guests who plan to spend their days exploring Scarborough and want a welcoming room to return to.
Rooms 1 and 5 are both located on the first floor, making them a popular choice for guests who would prefer to avoid the additional flight of stairs to our second-floor rooms.

We have two Small Double Rooms at Seaside Hideaway — Rooms 1 and 5. They are very similar in size and features, so whichever one you're staying in you'll know what to expect.
Also located on the first floor, Room 5 offers the same easy combination of a comfortable double bed, private en-suite shower room and useful wardrobe space.
Like Room 1, it makes excellent use of the space available and is a popular option for shorter stays and guests who prefer a first-floor room.
Small Double Room 1
Located on the first floor, Room 1 is a compact and comfortable double with its own private en-suite shower room and wardrobe.
There is plenty of room to move around and settle in, making Room 1 a great choice if you want a comfortable base without paying for space you may not use.
Small Double Room 5
Also located on the first floor, Room 5 offers the same easy combination of a comfortable double bed, private en-suite shower room and useful wardrobe space.
Like Room 1, it makes excellent use of the space available and is a popular option for shorter stays and guests who prefer a first-floor room.

We're in North Bay, within easy reach of Peasholm Park, North Bay Beach and many of Scarborough's attractions, while evening dining is available Monday to Saturday if you'd rather relax at the hotel after a day out.
