Our Journey
As avid cyclists, both road biking and trail riding are not just pastimes but a way of life for us. We’ve traversed the entire Yorkshire coastline from Spurn Point to Staithes and tackled the challenging Lyke Wake Walk among many other adventures. These experiences fuel our enthusiasm to share our local knowledge with every guest.
Sarah’s Touch
With a compassionate career spanning 30 years as a mental health nurse, Sarah brings a nurturing spirit to the hotel. She also thrives as a Temple Spa consultant and has successfully run our charming Seaside Hideaway. Her passion is to ensure every visitor has a relaxing and rejuvenating stay, believing deeply in the restorative power of a great holiday.
Jim’s Expertise
Jim’s career has always centred around tourism, from thrilling days as a pirate aboard the Hispaniola on The Mere to commanding the world’s smallest navy at Peasholm Park. Having worked at the North Bay Railway, just a stone’s throw from our hotel, and currently running a marketing agency supporting local tourism businesses, he brings a wealth of insight and a network of local hospitality to enhance our guests’ experiences.
