A perfect stay! We had a lovely stay! Sarah and Jim are the perfect hosts and the hotel is spotlessly clean and provides all that you need for a comfy and enjoyable stay. The breakfasts are great. We particularly enjoyed Sarah's homemade granola. We will certainly return!

Amazing Location is amazing so central the beach up the hill from the largest miniature railway , the hosts Sarah & Jim are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble , rooms are so clean , comfy beds with special touches I’ve never had in a room even in an expensive hotel . Scarborough It was my 1st time staying at seaside hideaway and visiting Scarborough. Upon arrival we were greeted with a slice of cake and a cup of tea, the hotel and room where exceptionally clean and the breakfast was to die for I would personal recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Two recent visits Stayed here twice over past few weeks while visiting Scarborough for the cricket. Lovely welcome on arrival. Sarah and Jim are a great team running this place together. Immaculately clean and always smells amazing! Lovely little touches in the rooms with toiletries and biscuits. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, with baked treats provided by Sarah. Relaxing 3 nights stay The hosts and staff were so friendly and welcoming anything you needed they were there for you,The accommodation was first rate ,the rooms and beds were so spacious and comfortable,the catering was excellent and you are 5 mins from the sea front ,to add car parking there was plentiful, we will go again.

Mini Break in Scarborough. Very good accommodation. Really nice food. Nothing too much trouble. Jim and Sarah are excellent hosts, supported well by other staff at breakfast. Our fantastic two day break! The location of Seaside Hiderway is in an excellent position,just a 5 minute walk to the sea front,Northstead Manor Gardens and Peasholm Park.Jim and Sarah were excellent hosts!They were friendly and very accommodating! The property has recently been refurbished and decorated to a very high standard!It has very homely feeling .Both the breakfast and evening meals were a bonus,nicely cooked and well presented!It was lovely not to have to go out in the evening to look for somewhere to eat.It was also lovely to relax in the cosy bar before and after the evening meal.We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the not too distant future!

Superb!! First time at Seaside Hideaway it won’t be our last. Such a warm friendly welcome from Sarah and Jim. A nice cup of tea and shortbread biscuits were served to us on arrival. Very thoughtful. First impressions Wow!. Room 9 Spacious, spotless, warm and light. Tea tray excellent and replenished the next day. Comfortable bed with beautiful linen. Walk in wardrobe with plenty of hanging space. Bathroom neat and clean, temple Spa toiletries provided, large soft towels and bath robes. Breakfast was amazing, yoghurt with homemade compote, fresh fruit pots, cereal (lots of choice), good choice for cooked breakfast, toast, and home made fruit loaf, homemade marmalade scrummy, tea and fresh coffee. The bar is well stocked and a lovely inviting space. We ate in the hotel in the evening which was excellent. We would not hesitate to eat in the hotel again. Location is perfect just up the road from Peasholme Park. Sarah and Jim’s knowledge of Scarborough is exceptional and they will guide you along the way. Warm welcome What a lovely warm welcome, along with a pot of tea and homemade shortbread. Room was excellent and very comfortable. Excellent stay Our second visit with Sarah and Jim, and once again an excellent visit. Warm welcome, lovely clean rooms with all Sarah’s special touches. Again we enjoyed Jim’s culinary offerings every evening including Pizza night. Again we’ll be back!! Thank you both.
