If you enjoy having a little more space when you're away, our four Premium Rooms are the ones to choose. They are our largest bedrooms, each with a comfortable king-size bed and its own individual character.
No two Premium Rooms are quite the same, with differences in layout, furnishings and individual features that give each room its own personality. Whichever one you stay in, you'll have plenty of room to settle in and make yourself comfortable during your Scarborough break.
One of our Premium Rooms is located on the first floor, with the remaining three on the second floor. If stairs are an important consideration, please let us know and we'll be happy to help you choose the most suitable room for your stay.
A Little More Room to Relax
Our Premium Rooms are ideal for guests who like their bedroom to be somewhere they can relax, rather than simply somewhere to sleep. The additional space gives you room to unpack, settle in and enjoy a slower start or end to the day.
Each room has been individually furnished rather than designed to look exactly the same. Some of the differences are obvious as soon as you walk through the door, while others are in the smaller details that make each room feel a little different.
If you have a particular preference, please give us a call before booking. As a small eight-room hotel, we know our rooms well and are always happy to help you find the one that best suits you.

Meet Our Four Premium Rooms
Each of our Premium Rooms is a little different. From the layout and position within the hotel to the individual details inside, they each have their own character.
Room 3
Located on the first floor, Room 3 is Sarah’s favourite of our Premium Rooms and also our largest bedroom, with plenty of space to really settle in and feel at home.
A super king-size bed gives you lots of room to get comfortable, while the generous seating area means the bedroom is somewhere you can genuinely relax rather than simply somewhere to sleep. The en-suite bathroom features a large walk-in shower, completing a spacious and comfortable room that's particularly well suited to longer stays.
Being our first-floor Premium Room, Room 3 is also a good option for guests who would prefer to avoid the additional flight of stairs to our second-floor bedrooms.
Room 7
Located on the second floor, Room 7 is a spacious Premium Room with a super king-size bed and a generous seating area, giving you plenty of room to relax during your stay.
The en-suite bathroom has a large shower over the bath, so you can choose between a long soak at the end of the day or a refreshing shower before heading out to explore Scarborough.
With its combination of space, comfortable seating and a super king-size bed, Room 7 is a great choice if you like your hotel room to be somewhere you can properly settle in and unwind.
Room 8
Located on the second floor, Room 8 is a comfortable Premium Room with a king-size bed and a generous seating area, giving you plenty of space to relax during your stay.
One of the room's lovely little extras is the view towards Scarborough Castle from the window, while the en-suite bathroom features a spacious double walk-in shower.
With its comfortable layout, castle view and large walk-in shower, Room 8 is a great choice if you enjoy having a little extra space and somewhere to sit back and unwind after a day exploring Scarborough.
Room 9
Located on the second floor, Room 9 is Jim’s favourite of our Premium Rooms and it’s easy to see why. It has a comfortable king-size bed, a large seating area and plenty of space to settle in during your stay.
From the window, you can also enjoy views towards Scarborough Castle, while the en-suite bathroom features a spacious double walk-in shower. A separate walk-in wardrobe gives you plenty of room to unpack and keep everything neatly out of the way — particularly useful if you’re staying with us for a few days.
With its castle view, generous layout, separate dressing space and large seating area, Room 9 feels particularly spacious and is a lovely room to come back to after a day exploring Scarborough.
More Than Just a Comfortable Room
Your Premium Room is only part of your stay at Seaside Hideaway. A freshly cooked breakfast is included each morning, free on-site parking means you can leave the car behind, and our North Bay location puts Peasholm Park, North Bay Beach and much of Scarborough within easy reach.
Evening dining is available Monday to Saturday, with home-cooked favourites throughout the week and Jim's wood-fired pizzas on most Saturdays and selected event nights.
